Tennessee Real Estate Broker Management 30-Hour Course

This course is approved by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission to meet that part of the requirements for the TN Real Estate Broker License. This course is required in order to sit for the broker exam.

There are many reasons to take this real estate Broker course. One is to gain the distinguished Broker designation. Also this course is required in order to be a Designated Broker, Managing Broker or Principal Broker. Or for those of you dreaming of opening your own real estate office, this is a good place to start.

Description of Broker Real Estate Class:

This Tennessee real estate course covers a variety of topics. Some of those include:

  • Setting up your real estate office
  • Tennessee Broker responsibilities to affiliates
  • Management styles and techniques
  • Broker and TREC document requirements
  • PTN real estate law and rules

Tennessee Real Estate Broker License Requirements:

Here are the Tennessee Real Estate Commission requirements for a broker license:

  • Must have a active license that meets one of the following criteria:
    • Twenty-four months actively licensed, if licensed as an affiliate broker on or before May 12, 1988.
    • Thirty-six months actively licensed, if licensed as an affiliate broker after May 12, 1988.
    • Twenty-four months actively licensed, if the candidate has a baccalaureate degree with a major in real estate.
  • 120 hours of continuing education credits.
  • 30 hours (of 120 CE hours) must be an Office/Broker Management course taken at a school approved by TREC.
