TN Continuing Education in Real EstateOur courses are accredited by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission for continuing education credit. Upon successful completion of a continuing education course, we provide you with a certificate and we send verification of CE hours to the state on your behalf. Our Tennessee Real Estate Classes:Our real estate education courses will help you fulfill your continuing education requirements and take your knowledge to the next level. Classroom instruction is offered at our Memphis real estate school location. State of Tennessee Real Estate Licensing Continuing Education Requirements:Affiliate brokers are required to renew their real estate license every two years by successfully completing 16 hours of continuing education (CE) courses approved by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission. Four of those 16 hours must include the mandatory "TREC Core Course." All 16 CE hours must be acquired by November 1st of even numbered years in order for your license to be renewed the following 2 years. Tennessee Brokers who receive their license after January 1, 2005, will also be required to complete 16 hours of continuing education, just as an affiliate broker. This is a new policy enacted by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission in 2004. Those individuals who received their license before July 1, 1980, are considered grandfathered and are not required to complete 16 hours of continuing education. |
